Fortunately, Chicagoland offers man choices for ordering great food for Thanksgiving. We, at Chicago Splash Magazine, offer wishes for a lovely celebration.

The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce (ACC) invites you to support your favorite Andersonville bakeries, restaurants, bars and other retailers this holiday season by shopping locally for Thanksgiving pies, meals to-go and other specialty items. Many neighborhood eateries will also be open for dine-in service this year, so make your reservations early. For the most up-to-date information, visit the Andersonville Holiday Meals Page.

Pre-Order Your Thanksgiving Pies & Sweets

Defloured: A Gluten Free Bakery (1477 W. Balmoral Ave.) is offering a variety of gluten free and vegan pies, bars, cookies, biscuits and more. Orders taken via a new online order form until Thursday, November 18 (or until they reach capacity). 

First Slice Pie Cafe (5357 N. Ashland Ave.) features more than 15 types of sweet pies, plus quiches, savory pot pies, soups, side dishes and more. Order online or stop by the store and fill out an order form for pick-up November 22 – 24.

Gadabout (5212 N. Clark St.) is introducing a new Thanksgiving pie menu featuring Mutsu apple & miso caramel, chai spiced pumpkin with coconut whip and Mexican chocolate pecan. Pre-orders are open through Tuesday, November 16 for pick-up November 22 – 24.

Lost Larson (5318 N. Clark St.) offers pies and other sweets including a decadent Basque cheesecake, along with a variety of homemade breads, wine and more. Accepting limited pre-orders online for pick-up Tuesday November 23 and Wednesday, November 24.

A Taste of Heaven Bakery & Cafe (5401 N. Clark St.) invites you to stop by the shop or call for sweets, side dishes and all your Thanksgiving needs.

Thanksgiving Meals To-Go

Let Bar Roma (5101 N. Clark St.) do the cooking this year with Chef Ramos’ family style feast, featuring cider brined roasted turkey, sage gravy, whipped garlic potatoes, classic green bean casserole, cornbread stuffing, pretzel rolls and bourbon pecan pie. Place orders online before Friday, November 19 for pickup on Wednesday, November 24. 

Bettie Lou’s (5633 N. Ashland Ave.) is taking pre-orders for Southern-style fried turkey, macaroni and cheese, yams, greens and dressing. Call (312) 725-2247 to place orders for pick-up on Thursday, November 25.

Big Jones (5347 N. Clark St.) is cooking up a specially crafted menu including a variety of starters, Cajun style deep-fried turkey with stuffing and gravy, mashed sweet potatoes, skillet-charred Brussels sprouts, pumpkin pie, white chocolate dipped bourbon balls and their signature battery punch. Vegetarian entrée alternative: toasted Iroquois white corn & acorn tamale “bombe” filled with acorn squash, Hen of the Woods mushrooms, dried cherries, sage and peelcorn oat gravy. Order online while available for pick-up on Thursday, November 25.

Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar (5553 N. Clark St.) is serving sides and dessert to-go including artichokes, crispy Brussels sprouts and goat cheese cheesecake with spiced cranberry compote. Also enjoy a variety of wine pairings including sparkling cava, rose, white and red, plus the Uvae Manhattan for two and spiced Syrah with dried orange garnish. Order online through Monday, November 22 for pick-up on Wednesday, November 24.

Parson’s Chicken & Fish – Andersonville (5721 N. Clark St.) Chef Hunter’s homestyle Thanksgiving dinner for two includes a whole fried Amish chicken, jalapeño cornbread, tomato & bacon braised green beans, creamed corn and mashed potatoes and gravy. Plus, classic Parson’s extras like Ponderosa salad, hush puppies, mac and cheese and more are available to add-on. Pre-orders are available through RESY through Noon on Tuesday, November 23. Pick-ups are available on Thanksgiving Day from 11 am – 5 pm.

Dine-In or Take-Out for Thanksgiving

Andie’s Restaurant (5253 N. Clark St.) is open Thanksgiving Day for dine-in, pick-up and delivery from 11 am – 7 pm.  Serving individual roasted turkey dinners or “Full Turkey Package” including turkey, stuffing, sides and pumpkin pie. To place your order or make a reservation, call (773) 784-8616.


Fireside Restaurant (5739 N. Ravenswood) Dine in and enjoy turkey with all the trimmings, prime rib or regular menu items. Wash it down with a Fireside’s holiday cocktail including a boozy pumpkin spice latte, the “O, CANADA!,” autumn sangria and house Glögg. Reservations can be made on RESY. The catering menu includes both full turkey (serves 8-10) and half turkey (serves 4-5) dinners for pickup and delivery. Each comes with gravy, green beans, cranberry chutney, herb stuffing and a choice of mashed potatoes or mashed sweet potatoes. Pies are also available. Individual turkey dinners will be available for pickup on Thanksgiving Day between 11 am – 4 pm (limit 6 dinners per person). Call (773) 561-7433 to place your order.

Replay Andersonville (5358 N. Clark St.) features a three-course meal including soup, salad, choice of roasted turkey breast with trimmings or Hen of the Woods mushroom risotto, plus dessert. Plus, sip on a seasonal sweet pumpkin pie cocktail or apple cider mimosa. Coffee and Cocktails


The Coffee Studio (5628 N. Clark St.) is offering its seasonal maple latte: perfectly pulled espresso and steamed milk swirled with real maple syrup and topped with house-made maple whipped cream and sprinkled with some maple sugar crystals. 

Colectivo Coffee (5425 N. Clark St.) welcomes back its “Turkey Trot” Thanksgiving coffee blend in cafés and online for the entire month of November. KOVAL Distillery (4241 N. Ravenwood Ave.) is hosting a special Thanksgiving Cocktail Class inside the distillery on Thursday, November 18 at 7 pm. Up your cocktail game by learning how to make three festival cocktails featuring cinnamon spice, cranberry and other holiday-inspired flavors – and the recipes are yours to take home.
