Mother’s Day at Le Grand

For a perfect DTLA Mother’s Day brunch head over to Le Grand, the recently opened modern Mediterranean inspired restaurant by  chef/brother duo, Alex (Executive Chef) and Chris Manos (Chef De Cuisine), and snag a last minute reservation.

The brunch menu, available on Mother’s Day from 11:00am-3:00pm, features a mix of Crudo, Freshly Baked Pastries, Housemade Honey Granola, Smoked Salmon Tartine with creamy ricotta, cucumber and turmeric, Egg Croissants, Shakshuka, Dungeness Crab Benedict and more.

Or, if mom is partial to live jazz, check out Norah in West Hollywood. The market to table hotpot and sister concept to Margot will have live jazz during Mother’s Day Brunch. Enjoy homemade buttermilk biscuits with pimento cheese, ancient grain pancakes with farro and quinoa, or cast iron cornbread with rosemary honey butter. At Margot, indulge in charred brocolli tzatziki, avocado toast on homemade focaccia, and a cocktail: bloody mary, kale mary, or housemade spritz, from the sun-drenched patio or inside the stunning greenhouse rooftop. 


Ivory at Mondrian Los Angeles will offer a traditional brunch display complete with an omelet station, or made to order family-style dishes including pappardelle bolognaise, seared salmon with pepperonata and almonds, and truffled mushroom fricassee. Sip on mimosas perched on the Hollywood Hills with mom. 

If you are looking for a new experience and want to get an early jump on Mother’s Day, The Milky Way, the Spielberg family’s recently-reopened neighborhood dairy kosher restaurant at Pico-Robertson is officially launching Sunday brunch beginning Sunday, May 5th (10am-2pm)! The newly-reimagined restaurant brings a refreshed New American menu by Talented Executive Chef and Restaurant Consultant Phil Kastel, while still paying homage to the legacy and unique tastes beloved owner Leah Spielberg Adler.

Chef Kastel’s thoughtful redesign of the New American kosher menu will soon debut a new selection of brunch favorites, with entirely new items and a handful of Ms. Adler’s original family recipes done with a modern twist. Sunday brunch guests can experience The Impossible™ Green Chile Breakfast Burger with lettuce, tomato, roasted green chilies, American Cheese, garlic aioli and a fried egg on a sesame bun, served with fries; Potato Latkes & Eggs featuring three pancakes, two eggs any style, served with house-made apple compote and sour cream; the Eggs Benedict Florentine on a toasted English muffin with sautéed spinach, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce, served with breakfast potatoes; and the delectable Brioche French Toast topped with berry compote and powdered sugar. Brunch cocktails will also star on the menu, with libations such as the Rose Spritz, Beermosa, and Michelada to round out the full brunch dining experience.

The Milky Way will serve brunch on Sundays (beginning 5/5) from 10am-2pm (closed on Saturdays in observe for Shabbat). The brunch menu will kick off just in time for Mother’s Day coming up on Sunday, May 12, with limited reservations available to celebrate mom on her special day.

Mother’s Day at Nerano Beverly Hills

Treat mom to an Italian lunch or dinner that will teleport her right to the Amalfi Coast without ever leaving the heart of Beverly Hills! Nerano will be offering an array of special a la carte Italian dishes by Executive Chef Michele Lisi, available for lunch and dinner on Sunday, May 12 in honor of Mother’s Day. A la carte highlights include the Salmone Affumicato e Stracciatella Pizza, with smoked salmon, stracciatella cheese, arugula, chives and crispy capers; the Gnocchi all’Astice with gnocchi pasta, Maine Lobster tail, fresh peas, cherry tomato, and fresno pepper; Filetto di Ippoglosso dell’Alaska,grass-fed veal chop with roasted Yukon gold potatoes, sautéed swiss chard and brown butter sage; and the Torta della Mamma – a tart filled with vanilla pastry cream, dark chocolate, sliced almonds and pistachio gelato – for a sweet end to a day dedicated to celebrating mom.

Mother’s Day hours are 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. for dinner.
